Pura Meru , Lombok

          Pura Meru is a great and admirable work of the people of Bali , This Pura is situated opposite the park Mayura and built simultaneously in the same year (1720) , This temple lies in the center of city , who easily accessible , many public transport and close to the hotel (five-star hotels or hotels)

          Pura Meru is located in downtown and built in 1720 under the supervision Anak Agung Gde Karangasem is one of the king of Karangasem who can control some parts of the island lombok , and the king was in power in the year 1740 - 1894 , This Pura is a large temple in lombok and became one of the interesting and beautiful temples.

          Pura Meru  was built as a place of worship in lombok Hindus . Pura Meru  consists of three pages wide and stretches from west to east , in most western page there is Home "Kulkul" or kentongan . the central courtyard there are two large buildings that are used to prepare a place for ritual offerings and prayers . While most eastern pages contained building with three towers high and is made with a unique and distinctive neighborhood . with eleven multilevel  roof in the middle of the tower and nine in the towers left and right, a symbol of Lord Shiva, Vishnu, and the god Brahma.

         To get to the location of Pura Meru is very easy because it is located in the middle of town and a lot of public transportation that can be used to get to this place . or mileage from the port Lembarr about 20 km, while from the air port Selaparang about 5 km.
